Purpose: 

Gender mainstreaming: combination of data from own statistical surveys of the Czech Statistical Office and data from different administrative data sources (ministries, NGOs). The data are structured by sex. The main information is about employment and unemployment, salaries, education, health care, crime, traffic accidents, etc. Statistics on minorities: first of all data from census of population and housing (last in 2001) according to the special law. Data in structure by sex, age, nationality, ethnicity (first of all Roma people). The main indicators are: education, economic (non) activity, religion, commuting to work or school, structure of families by number of children, housing quality.

For evaluation purposes statistical surveys of the Czech Statistical Office and administrative data sources are used (especially from the Ministries of Labor and social affairs, Health care, Education, Justice, Regional development, Industry and trade). Levels of aggregation are as follows: country – 14 regions – 76 districts – 6 248 municipalities (there are only data on election and from census of population and housing).
